On 13 January, Havering Islamic Cultural Centre held a short series and talks on the Rohingya crisis, giving a first-hand insight into the crises from the ground, highlighting the key issues facing those in the camps and how we can help going forward.
We hosted a further conversation into the work performed by two charities the Mosque is proud to support: Cradle for Life and the Michael Maqsood Foundation, who work together for the benefit of international crises.
Sidra Naeem from the Centre also discussed the importance of charity in Islam and how we should donate.
